If you want to learn boxing the right way while building your skill set through hard work and dedicated practice, this class is for you. You will be taught from the ground up how to develop movement, speed, timing, and concussive power, and how to use these skills effectively in the ring. You will also be taught how to use a variety of boxing equipment, including the heavy bag and double end bag, and be given regular, independent use of this equipment outside of class.
All participants, with approval by the instructor, will be allowed to take part in regular sparring practices in a safe and well supervised setting. However, sparring will not be required for participation. We don’t mess around in this class so come ready to work hard and have some fun!
Certified as a professional by the American Council on Exercise, certified in the classroom with a B.S. in Exercise Biology, and certified in the boxing ring by the School of Hard Knocks, I bring a variety of different training methods and techniques to build an adaptable, flexible training program to fit any and all fitness goals. I am immensely passionate about personal health and well-being, and look to develop programs that are both accessible at every level of fitness and challenging to create improvement and change. I believe that everyone, with enough determination and dedication, can achieve their personal health goals, and I see it as my job to make those goals happen.
